K-12 Education

The United States has alarmingly high rates of functional illiteracy. Math proficiency is at historic lows, and STEM scores reflect a systemic failure in public education. Millions of students are graduating entirely unprepared for meaningful employment in a competitive economy.

A significant part of this failure stems from teachers who use classroom time to advance personal agendas rather than teach core skills. Just as many have rightly pushed to remove conservative ideology from classrooms, the same standard must be applied equally — liberal agendas that consume instructional time at the expense of reading, writing, and arithmetic have no place in schools either. The classroom is not a platform for political or social indoctrination from any direction.

Schools must return to fundamentals. Reading, writing, mathematics, and critical thinking skills are the core mission. Everything else belongs outside school hours. If public schools continue to fail in this basic mission, the case for expanding private education and redirecting resources accordingly becomes increasingly difficult to argue against.

Smaller nations with far smaller education budgets are consistently outperforming the United States. This is not a funding problem — it is a priorities problem.
